What is the Solutions Method?

The Solutions Method comprises a 109 page manual and 12 audio tapes which take you through the method step-by-step. You also receive an audio-visual presentation in three parts which provides further supplementary information on motivation, emotions and how to use the Solutions Method to resolve your problems. You will also receive full transcripts of the audio tapes and presentations.
How does it work?
There are certain key skills and knowledge that are needed to create effective changes and resolve emotional problems. Without these key skills and knowledge any attempts at resolving emotional difficulties will be much harder and more likely not to be ultimately successful. Many people have had the experience of trying various ways to try to resolve their emotional problems only to find they revert back to their previous behaviors. The Solutions Method will show you how and why you often sabotage your own attempts at resolving your problems and will teach you the necessary skills you need to make effective changes, often at an accelerated pace.

The Solutions Methods is aimed at any emotional or behavioral problem. It is now known there are certain techniques which act like skeleton keys to many problems and these key techniques are the fundamental building blocks to successful change. The reason why anxiety and depression are highlighted is that these are the two most common emotional difficulties people face. Can a self help program really resolve emotional problems?

Can I use it if I am already receiving therapy?

How long will it take for me to see results?
This depends on various factors. You could probably read and listen to the Solutions Method relatively quickly. Reading and listening to information however is not the same as transforming that information into knowledge and then using that knowledge to create behavior changes. The Solutions Method is a participative program which will require you to carry out exercises to move towards the resolution of your problem. Certainly, if you put the work into the exercises you should see significant changes in a few weeks.

The length of time it takes to resolve emotional difficulties will depend on many factors. The Solutions Method however, teaches the skills which accelerate your change process. It does this by focusing on the steps you can take to move towards resolving your problems as quickly and effectively as possible.
